An early industry pioneer in the development of video and image manipulation software products, MGI Software Corp was later acquired by “Roxio” (in 2002). Original founders of MGI would then go on to establish “iseemedia”. Both became Dúnedain clients, as well. The MGI Software tutorials were unique, dynamic, fully narrated demonstrations —as entertaining, as they were informative— enabling them to 'double as' promotional marketing tools, while staying true to their user training objectives. The series was developed and released in several languages (including German, Spanish & Japanese).

At its inception, the entire Dúnedain team shared one numbered email address and a mobile phone the size of a small pet. We hand-coded HTML (in SimpleText) and dazzled clients with all manner of 'new media' wonders, like:  content you could CLICK ON and graphics that MOVED.

In those days, it made perfect sense for us to LEAD with our 'technology foot' first. It was shiny and new. It opened doors with ease. At the time, for all businesses —large and small— when it came to ONLINE, just BEING THERE was the goal.

Today, we occupy a world in which your grandmother googles, your great aunt tweets, your niece builds websites, and your granddaughter has her own youtube channel.
